The Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center at CentraState is proud to announce that it has received the 2019 Excellence in Quality Improvement Award from the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA).
The Manor’s Administrative Certified Nursing Aide Program was selected for its work to improve care quality and resident safety while enhancing satisfaction. The program includes training administrative staff to work as certified nursing assistants (CNAs) when needed. This program helps to alleviate the impact of the national CNA shortage for residents at The Manor. It also aims to improve response times and enable traditional CNAs to spend more quality time at the bedside, promoting resident improvement and independence.
“We are thrilled to have been recognized by the NJHA for our innovative, cost-effective, resident-centric solution that supports the clinical staff, is personally rewarding to the administrative staff, and most importantly, improves the quality of care to our residents,” says Toni Lynn Davis, MHA, CNHA, FACHCA, administrator of The Manor. “We look forward to continuing to use and train ACNAs to support nursing aides in our efforts to constantly improve our quality measures.”
