At last week’s town hall meeting, Janice S. Mironov, mayor, East Windsor Township, presented the 2016 Business Award for Community Enhancement to Salvatore Cannizzaro, CEO, Immediate Care Walk-In Management, LLC (pictured left), and John T. Gribbin, president and CEO, CentraState Healthcare System.
The CentraState Health Pavilion—home to Family Practice of CentraState, physical and occupational therapy, an outpatient lab and Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of East Windsor—was recently awarded the 2016 Business Award for Community Enhancement by East Windsor Township Mayor Janice S. Mironov.
The organization was recognized for its opening in 2016 of its first primary care/urgent care office located in the Town Center Plaza at 319 Route 130 in East Windsor. The township award is given to local businesses that make special efforts to improve or contribute to the community which they serve.
CentraState’s Health Pavilion at East Windsor brings health care closer to home for area residents with private physician practices, health education classes and lectures, a rehabilitation center, an outpatient lab, and immediate care services.
“We are thrilled to have been recognized for our efforts to bring convenient, highly skilled health care to the residents of East Windsor and surrounding towns,” says John T. Gribbin, president and CEO, CentraState Healthcare System. “Opening this type of medical pavilion is a testament to our unwavering efforts to keep patients out of the hospital, in control of their own health and wellness, and provide easy access to the best of doctors.” Sal Cannizzaro, CEO of Immediate Care Medical Walk-In added, “Having an urgent care center tied into a family medicine practice, such as the CentraState Health Pavilion at East Windsor, allows us to care for the health needs of the East Windsor community seven days a week.”
