CentraState Healthcare System is pleased to announce the CentraState Central Jersey Wound & Edema Treatment Center has moved to a new, expanded location. The spacious new suite is located on the property immediately adjacent to the hospital campus at 1001 W. Main Street, Suite B, Freehold, NJ 07728.
“We selected the new location and designed the space to improve a patient’s experience,” says certified wound specialist Diane Yacono, APN-C. “The same compassionate team of providers and support personnel are here to help when you need us, including specialists in general surgery, vascular disease, podiatry and infectious disease.”
The Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic wounds using the most advanced technology and procedures. New patients undergo a thorough, initial examination and appraisal to determine why a wound has not healed. Based on the results, a customized treatment and education plan is developed that may include the expertise of nutritionists, exercise physiologists, and diabetes specialists. Treatment options include removal of unhealthy tissue, medications, antibiotic therapy, wound dressings, edema and lymphedema therapy, and more.
The new location, which stands out with a bright teal awning, allows for closer parking, a covered walkway to the main entrance, a comfortable reception area, and eight spacious treatment rooms.
The new suite is located adjacent to the hospital campus at:
