Cauliflower, Potato & Leek Purée
Serves 4–6 portions
Ingredients
1 potato
½ small leek
3 cauliflower florets
Breast or formula milk
Directions
Wash, peel and cube the potato. Wash the leek, remove the tough outer layer, then thinly slice. Steam or boil the potato, leek and cauliflower for 15 minutes, or until tender. Cool, then puree in a blender with a little breast or formula milk until smooth and creamy.
Peach Melba Smoothie
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 peaches or nectarines, peeled, pitted and coarsely chopped
1 ½ cups raspberries
2 ½ cups milk
4 decent scoops of good-quality vanilla
ice cream (or plain yogurt)
Directions
Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth and creamy.
