CentraState’s OceanFirst Rehabilitation Center is proud to announce that it is now a participating member of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Rehabilitation Network for pediatric rehabilitation.
The HSS Rehabilitation Network is a hospital-managed membership network of recommended therapy providers that includes more than 150 outpatient physical and occupational therapy facilities located throughout the tri-state area. For patients who cannot utilize the Hospital for Special Surgery for their outpatient rehabilitation, it provides a resource for locating exceptional, convenient therapy providers in their own communities.
CentraState’s OceanFirst Rehabilitation Center was granted HSS network membership for pediatric rehabilitation after successfully completing a rigorous application and inspection process which evaluated its credentials, provision of care, facilities and scope of service.
The OceanFirst Rehabilitation Center offers outpatient pediatric rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, speech-language, and aquatic therapies. All services are designed to meet and support the growing developmental diagnosis and rehabilitation needs of infants, children, and adolescents. The Center’s mission is to provide compassionate, quality care to assist children in reaching their full functional potential, helping them gain skills to participate in all aspects of life at home and in the community..
“We are proud to be associated with the Hospital for Special Surgery which is known to treat some of the most complex musculoskeletal conditions imaginable,” says Brian Mason, PT, DPT, clinical director of Rehabilitation Services at CentraState Medical Center. “This affiliation is confirmation that our therapists at CentraState are committed to providing the safest and most advanced therapeutic care to our pediatric patients and continue to strive to offer treatment techniques to maximize their outcomes after illness or injury.”
