CentraState Healthcare System is now accepting enrollments into four, weekly educational and skill-building camp programs for boys and girls offered this summer at CentraStateā€™s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 West Main Street, Freehold.

For kids ages five and six, Happy, Health Me Camp, will teach campers ways to keep their bodies happy and healthy, including exercise, safety, healthy eating, and germ defense through puppets, crafts, role play, songs, and finger play activities. The camp is July 23 through July 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Anatomy Academy camp, offered to kids ages 10 through 13, will give youngsters an in-depth look at the human body and allow them to visit hospital departments to learn from experts in the field of medicineā€”from x-ray technicians to physical therapists. The camp is July 30 through Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Medical Career Exploration Academy is for kids ages 10 to 12. Participants will explore the exciting world of health and medical careers through age-appropriate learning experiences and behind-the-scenes tours of medical specialties and departments at CentraState Medical Center. The program also includes CPR and First Aid certifications. The camp is Aug. 20 through Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In the adventurous Junior Physician Day Camp, children ages seven to nine can explore health and medical fields through hands-on experience and meet-and-greets with medical professionals. Campers also will receive their own stethoscope and lab coat to take home. The camp is Aug. 27 through Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Morning care from 8-9 a.m. will be made available for a fee of $25 per week. For more information about all of the summer camp programs, costs, fees and to register, visit livelifewellnj.com/summercamps or call (732) 308-0570.
