Over the last several days, so many of you—patients, community residents, local businesses—have shown CentraState’s healthcare team an abundance of love, gratitude and support. It means more than you know.
You also continue to ask what you can do to buoy the spirits of those on the front lines. Here’s our answer to that question:
Stay Healthy
Teams in all departments throughout the system are working tirelessly to take care of our community. The best thing you can do to help them is to stay healthy! Practice good hand hygiene and follow social distancing guidelines to slow the tide of the virus. So hunker down at home and only go out when necessary. This includes kids of all ages, including college-age ones, who can unknowingly carry and spread the disease to other higher risk groups.
Say Thanks Virtually
Your support and thanks means the world to our team. Send us a virtual message and we will get it to our team. Think about having your little ones draw a picture, sing a song or create a card. Take a picture of their creation or record a message (no more than 30 seconds), and post it to CentraState’s Facebook or Instagram page with the hashtag #ThanksCentraState. We know it will bring a smile to our healthcare team and give them a welcome moment of respite.
Give to Our Coronavirus Relief Fund
In response to those seeking a way to give during this time, CentraState Healthcare Foundation has started a Coronavirus Relief Fund to assist with much needed supplies. All donations are welcome and will be earmarked toward protective gear and essential medical equipment. Generous donors have agreed to match all donations. Click here to see what’s needed and give today! Stay tuned for more ways to help from our Foundation in the days and weeks to come. You can follow them here.
Again, thank you so much for all you’ve done—and want to do—to stand with our doctors, nurses, technicians, support staff and first responders. We’ll rise to this challenge in the same way they are.
