Our physicians guide patients through the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy. Moms deliver at CentraState’s First Impressions Maternity Center, where neonatologists and anesthesiologists are available 24/7, ready to respond to special needs. Our Magnet-recognized nursing staff is committed to making patients feel comfortable, secure, and happy throughout their birthing experience and hospital stay.
Gynecology
Women’s Health Specialists provide comprehensive preventative care, in addition to diagnosis and treatment of complex gynecologic conditions. Services include routine gynecological exams, treatment of abnormal Pap smears, pelvic pain, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, infertility, menopause, and aging issues.
About Margaret Dufreney, MD
Dr. Dufreney is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, where she received an award for excellence in the education of medical students. She earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine.
Dr. Dufreney specializes in female reproductive health, pregnancy and childbirth, with a special interest in preventative care, management or abnormal uterine bleeding, management of abnormal pap smears, contraception counseling, hysteroscopy, preconception counseling and prenatal care.
